Turtle Conservation Project

RAMA BEACH RESORT

Started over 15 years ago by protecting Marine Wildlife. We were the first Resort in Zambales, which had a turtle hatchery in the province. The population of the surrounding Barangays collects pawikan eggs and delivers them to us in order to safely host them in our hatchery to protect them against dogs, cats, birds, and human consumption. On the day of the hatch, we release the turtles together with you at the beach – a unique experience. This project is in cooperation with the local government units and is well documented. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you the exact hatch dates, as this is nature and the eggs may hatch a few days earlier or later than calculated.
